![]() ![]() So having a pipeline passing stuff in and out of your tool is also not bad to have. I came at a point where i needed stuff that was not possible in controllermate alone anymore, so i created OS level code but still triggered by controllermate that contained the logic/brains so i could extend that virtualy limitless. So best advice would be to just start building some stuff if the basics like controlling stuff on screen is out of the way. So you will have to build some logical structure, grouping, page switching, do this thing only if that as in state x, etc etc. What you inevitability need at some point is a way to keep track of statuses of different knobs/buttons etc as there is no real way to communicate with resolve directly without access to the API. Yeah you will find that when you actually start building something that resembles the beginning of an actual controller, you will find out what you need and what may or may not be missing from your tool. You will already find some discussion about HopControl in following thread: You can download a PDF file, where you find a description of this program: Smart mapping by well-structured assignment tables Analytical tools for MIDI and Keyboard input data Relative positioning to minimize rework Efficient coding due to simple arrangement of commands Recognizes multiple software types and controls them separately Translates keystrokes from hardware controllers Translates keystrokes from keyboard input Translates MIDI signals from MIDI controllers HopControl offers following key features: It is listening to incoming MIDI signals or keystrokes and translates them to simple or complex procedures of cursor movements, mouse and keyboard output events.įew month ago I decided to build up my own mapping program for windows as I saw that with existing solutions you get quickly lost if you want to control a bunch of functions.Īt the moment I have no short term plan to commercialize this program as I would have to overcome tax law in Germany as an employed person.īut soon I will release a Light version with some limitations. HopControl is a powerful MIDI, keystroke and mouse event mapping program. HopControl enables cost effective MIDI devices to control video and photo editors. ![]()
